Note: A "perfect paragraph" is a something my school, as a district, has created to improve writing across the curriculum. Students are assigned, at minimum, one perfect paragraph per class, per month. They are aware of the expectations and rubric used to grade a "perfect paragraph" assignment.
Task: Write a "perfect paragraph" describing what you think it means to be a scientist. Consider the following to get yourself started: What role scientists play in society? Are there different types of scientists? What do you think their day to day work looks like?
